Six things, and the three at the top are what Nerimbera rings us about most. Every one of them is done by a licensed plumber and gas fitter, and the site gets cleaned up before we leave.
Water coming back up through the plugholes, and the plunger has given up. Blocked dunnies, leaking taps, corroded pipework and water pressure that is either a dribble or a rumble. This is the bread and butter service call.
More on blocked drains
Water is going everywhere and it is not stopping on its own. Our local emergency team is ready to respond promptly during all active business hours. Burst pipes, water leaks, blocked drains and suspected gas leaks.

You turn on the tap and wait for it to warm up. And wait. And wait. We install energy efficient hot water systems and troubleshoot the one you already have. Instantaneous gas, solar and heat pump, plus repairs on whatever is out there now.
More on hot water
Creating your dream bathroom, kitchen or laundry? The plumbing you cannot see is the part that ruins a renovation. We cover the water and the gas on the same job, so a kitchen with a gas cooktop takes one trade instead of two.
Renovations
Make sure you are (safely) cooking with gas. Gas is the licensed, higher risk work a handyman cannot legally touch. Hot water systems, stovetops and ovens are the speciality, domestic and commercial, including commercial kitchens.
Gas fitting
The test is annual, and the reminder never comes at a good time. Backflow valves stop contaminated water flowing back into the drinking supply. Thermostatic mixing valves blend hot and cold to a safe temperature so nobody gets scalded. Both need testing, and we test and repair on the spot.
Backflow and TMVRing and tell us what is going on, or send a photo. We will tell you what the job actually involves before anyone talks about money.
Flowtek did a bathroom renovation for me. Great ideas and awesome quality but even a better chat.
We work across Rockhampton from Yeppoon, but we are not going to put a made-up job or a borrowed photo on this page to prove it. If we have done work at your place in Nerimbera, a Google review helps your neighbours far more than anything we could write here.

Couldn’t recommend this service enough! My husband was away and my kitchen sink backed up, he came and fixed it that day and gave me some great advice to stop it happening again. The price was great! I was quoted twice that by the bigger companies and they also couldn’t get to me for days.
What an absolute legend.my hot water system busted. He had it done after 1 day without it. 10/10 for communication, was the first to respond to my messages for help. Nothing was a drama. Jason was just a nice fellow that made us feel comfortable and got the job done. Decent price too. Thanks Jason.

These are customers' own words about their own jobs, published on our Google Business Profile and quoted here exactly as they wrote them, misspellings of our name included. They describe what happened on those days. They are not a promise about how quickly we can get to you.
At Nerimbera that pattern usually means the problem is downstream of the fixture, in the on-site treatment system or the soakage, not in the pipe you are plunging. If the property has been through a flood event, silt and infiltration are the usual causes. Plunging a system fault just moves it around.
The stormwater lines and gullies for silt, the on-site treatment system for infiltration, and anything electrical attached to a pump. Those are the three that keep causing problems long after everything has dried out.
Four things, in order. You could check every one of them the next day.
Tell us the suburb and what is happening. A photo of the unit or the leak tells us more than a paragraph does.
Sometimes that is a question or two on the phone. Sometimes it is obvious from the photo.
Nobody prices a job properly down a phone line, so we come and look before anyone talks about money.
What the job is, what it takes and what happens if you leave it. Then it is your call.
Take a photo of it and text that instead. The plate on a hot water unit, the fitting that is dripping, the wet patch in the yard. It tells us the make, the age and usually the fault, which saves you describing it and saves us guessing.
Texts get read between jobs. If it's an emergency, ring instead.
Three fields we need, two that help. If it is urgent, ring instead, it is faster.
Licensed Plumber & Gas Fitter
Nerimbera is riverside and rural residential, on the Rockhampton side of the run out to the coast. Two things define it. The first is the Fitzroy. The river has come up over parts of the Rockhampton floodplain more than once in living memory, most recently in 2011 and 2017, and a property that has been inundated carries that in its plumbing afterwards: silt in stormwater lines, gully surrounds that have shifted, and on-site wastewater systems that took in water they were never meant to take. The second is that a good share of Nerimbera is not connected to reticulated sewer, so those households treat their own wastewater. Put the two together and you get the local job that comes up here more than anywhere else: an on-site treatment system that has been affected by water from outside it, which shows up as a drain that will not clear no matter how many times it is plunged.
On-site wastewater and stormwater that have been through a flood event. Silted lines and soakage that has stopped soaking. It presents as a blockage and it is a system problem.
Acreage and riverside blocks with long drives. Some low-lying access changes character in the wet, so tell us what the drive is doing before we set out.
