Frenchville is built on a hill, and elevation is the plumbing story here. The suburb runs from flat ground at the bottom up the lower slopes of Mount Archer, and houses higher up sit at the weaker end of the water pressure the network can deliver, particularly at peak demand on a hot Rockhampton evening.
