Six things, and the three at the top are what Adelaide Park rings us about most. Every one of them is done by a licensed plumber and gas fitter, and the site gets cleaned up before we leave.
Water coming back up through the plugholes, and the plunger has given up. Blocked dunnies, leaking taps, corroded pipework and water pressure that is either a dribble or a rumble. This is the bread and butter service call.
More on blocked drains
You turn on the tap and wait for it to warm up. And wait. And wait. We install energy efficient hot water systems and troubleshoot the one you already have. Instantaneous gas, solar and heat pump, plus repairs on whatever is out there now.
More on hot water
Make sure you are (safely) cooking with gas. Gas is the licensed, higher risk work a handyman cannot legally touch. Hot water systems, stovetops and ovens are the speciality, domestic and commercial, including commercial kitchens.
More on gas fitting
Creating your dream bathroom, kitchen or laundry? The plumbing you cannot see is the part that ruins a renovation. We cover the water and the gas on the same job, so a kitchen with a gas cooktop takes one trade instead of two.
Renovations
The test is annual, and the reminder never comes at a good time. Backflow valves stop contaminated water flowing back into the drinking supply. Thermostatic mixing valves blend hot and cold to a safe temperature so nobody gets scalded. Both need testing, and we test and repair on the spot.

We work across Capricorn Coast from Yeppoon, but we are not going to put a made-up job or a borrowed photo on this page to prove it. If we have done work at your place in Adelaide Park, a Google review helps your neighbours far more than anything we could write here.

A big thanks to Jason from Flowtek Services who was able to fix a few much needed plumbing jobs around the house without a fuss. Efficient and reliable worker with old fashioned service. Highly recommended

These are customers' own words about their own jobs, published on our Google Business Profile and quoted here exactly as they wrote them, misspellings of our name included. They describe what happened on those days. They are not a promise about how quickly we can get to you.
Turn every tap off, including the toilets and any irrigation, then watch the meter. If it is still turning, you have a leak on your side. On an Adelaide Park block that is almost always the buried private main between the meter and the house. We locate it before we dig, because trenching a full run on acreage is a big job to do blind.
Yes, water and gas both. The part worth doing properly is the run from the existing supply, because a shed line that is undersized or laid too shallow becomes somebody's problem in five years.
Four things, in order. You could check every one of them the next day.
Tell us the suburb and what is happening. A photo of the unit or the leak tells us more than a paragraph does.
Sometimes that is a question or two on the phone. Sometimes it is obvious from the photo.
Nobody prices a job properly down a phone line, so we come and look before anyone talks about money.
What the job is, what it takes and what happens if you leave it. Then it is your call.
Take a photo of it and text that instead. The plate on a hot water unit, the fitting that is dripping, the wet patch in the yard. It tells us the make, the age and usually the fault, which saves you describing it and saves us guessing.
Texts get read between jobs. If it's an emergency, ring instead.
Three fields we need, two that help. If it is urgent, ring instead, it is faster.
Licensed Plumber & Gas Fitter
The thing that defines plumbing at Adelaide Park is the length of the private line. On a block this size the water meter can sit a long way from the house, and everything between the two is the owner's pipe, not the council's. That is where the expensive faults hide. A slow leak in a buried private main on an acre block does not show up as a wet patch, because the ground takes it. It shows up on the bill, months later, and by then it has been running the whole time. The other feature here is a mix of eras on the same street: older acreage houses with pipework that has been extended a few times, next to new builds where everything is current. Sheds, second dwellings and stock troughs get plumbed in over the years by whoever was around, so the layout is rarely what the house plan says it is.
Underground leaks in a long private water main. On acreage the ground absorbs the water and the first sign is the bill. Locating it properly beats trenching the whole run.
Long driveways and gates. Give us the gate arrangement and tell us where the meter is, because on a block this size finding the meter is often the first ten minutes of the job.
